Hi all, I have been recently seeing a problem with ALL games when entering full-screen mode. I use a 42" LG 3DTV for dolphin and When playing a widescreen game I use typically 1920X1080 but when I use a GameCube game or WiiWare/VC game that is in 4/3 I use 1440X1080 for those. Typically the expected behavior is my ATI drivers see the resolution is a 4/3 one and my TV automatically switches to 4/3 mode, this is typically how it has worked so far, until recently. Now when using 1440X1080 my TV will not switch to a 4/3 display mode. If I set the "Use Full-screen" option in the graphics dialog and open the game directly into full-screen it WILL work properly. If I load a game into windowed mode and then alt+enter into full-screen mode then it will not work. Sometimes it is even in 1Xir and I have to alt+enter 2-3 times for the high resolution to kick in. I know both my card and my TV both support HDMI 1.3A so the card will automatically give the TV aspect ratio info and if 3D is enabled an so on. I wonder if exclusive full-screen is or is not being engaged under certain circumstances when its is or is not supposed to? Then maybe the ATI driver isn't passing along the aspect info correctly? Is there anything anyone can think of that might be the problem? Is anyone else using a modern 3DTV and can set the 1440 custom resolution to test this for me and see if it's my own configuration? Finally, is there a way to easily tell if Dolphin has properly engaged exclusive mode so I can test this and report my findings, maybe I have found some obscure bug in either Dolphin or in the ATI drivers or maybe even in how the specific TV and setup works?
