The SNES/SFC for me is the most perfected console that's ever been made.
Although I can't complain to what's been given after it's success, nothing can't really beat it. It have everything to offer that I ever wanted in the game department. The simple controller is one of the most comfortable ever made. Truly the pinnacle in 2D gaming. I sometimes wish that they had worked on improving it, making it more powerful for handling even more good looking 2D games, but the Game Boy Advance did a great job there anyway improving some of the SNES classics. 08-21-2011, 07:49 PM

Damn, I've got a pretty good collection but it's not nearly as good as yours. Plus I've only got the carts, the only box I still have is for Final Fantasy III, I keep that thing in PRISTINE condition

At least that have been the case for me. Thankfully today after several years all my games except one tiny little game is not pure 100% complete in the collection, The Legend of Zelda - Oracle of Seasons. Although I have the original cartridge bought from a retro store, the box and manual is bought after and is unofficial Nintendo bootlegged ones since I couldn't found the original box and manual cheaper then a complete game would cost and I have yet to see a cheap complete copy of this game anywhere Finding a specific game seems hopeless sometimes while it might get easier to lay hands on later. A couple of years ago it was really hard to find certain rare games in Sweden while now they're super easy to find today, however the price for them have risen severely. Video games sure ain't a cheap hobby that's for sure. |
