Had to post a new thread as the old one seems to be no longer relevant

So, I found that dolphin emulator (5.0) has a limited cheat search feature.

It does not allow you to select a range of addresses, or even look at a specific address, via the Add Cheats feature

The only way to find a specific cheat is to actually know the value your looking for.

Even the unknown value does not help, as it does not have "search by increasing or decreasing value, changed value, unchanged value, etc.). So, unknown value is useless.

I'm trying to find a way to remove the bloom effect in a few games. Only the legend of Zelda game seemed to have a hack for this.

Anyway, is there any tool out there that can search for cheats while the game is running? Cheat Engine doesn't help, as it hooks itself onto dolphin and runs through it's assembly line (or whatever you call it), not the game itself. So, you may find a code for cheat engine to do this, but it may or may not vary from the actual code that you put into AR/Gecko form and use with Dolphin's or a Gamecube/Wii cheat device. For example, finding address A with code A in Cheat Engine will yeild wanted results, but inputting the same address into AR form for dolphin's AR cheat function will do nothing/crash the program

It used to be much worse with the results limit at around 100 in older builds, those were truly the dark ages of Dolphin's Cheat Search function.
Currently its still at a pathetic 1024 results and several times of searching for stuff with excessively spammed equal and not equal and unknown,it would cruelly end up with just over the visibility cap so you can't even try a single one of those results.
Sometimes even doing less than and greater than to bring down the results count (even with 32bit searches) still isn't enough without the risk of losing the needed result.

A workaround for now (if you know what a functions value might be) would be to enable debugging and use the memory viewer in a cumbersome way via setting the address to 00000000 and searching for specific values then on each search switch to the 80 instead of 00 on the left of the address to reveal the values that are unfortunately invisible when in the 00 memory.
