It occurred to me that something like this would make troubleshooting issues MUCH more efficient, especially for new users, if we were able to see exactly what hardware and Dolphin settings they're using.
CPU: Intel i7-4790K
GPU: AMD HD 6870
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 2
RAM: 8GB DDR3

Running Dolphin x64 on Windows 8.1

That would require some Java coding and probably an install on the users' computer.
Then there is the problem with the Dolphin location. (Can probably be solved by scanning the entire PC for the exe's).

But what if an user has multiple Dolphin versions on his PC?
Should a list display from which folder to extract the information from?

All of those can be addressed by limiting the search to the same folder as Dolphin.exe and making the command available from the program's main window. (I suggest in the Help dropdown menu) As I recall, multiple Dolphin installations can't coexist in the same folder so only the currently running version will be searched.

If adding the ability to existing installations, the installer can provide the option to change the destination if someone has more than one version on their machine.

Looks like you just volunteered. So when can we expect this to be done?

If they can get a H.264 decoder working in javascript CPU-Z should be a walk in the park.

I would, if I knew anything about programming.
