Adapter Suggestion for Bluetooth Passthrough with Wii Remote Plus

Hello,

I am looking for an (desktop) adapter that would perform well using Bluetooth Passthrough with the Wii Remote Plus. I have consulted the hardware list in this forum (not passthrough) and the adapter test results from the wiki on Bluetooth passthrough. So far I tried buying the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (for Desktop) twice, which I got the laptop card with mini PCI Express which does not work, and the second time the shop gave me a laptop one even though the page showed me the desktop kit. Googling does not give me anything useful with either availability of this model or alternative models proven to work well.

I can keep trying on the remaining online stores that still sell it, but I am not optimistic that they would give me the correct desktop card. Therefore, I would like to ask for some suggestions on desktop Bluetooth adapters that would work well with Dolphin and the Wii Remote Plus in July 2018. I am located in Europe so Amazon.de could be a place to check availability. The only constraint I can think of is that it cannot be M.2 (i.e. Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 Desktop Kit) since my motherboard doesn't have one.

PS: At the moment I am playing on the XPS13 with a Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth 4.1, which works perfectly except for New Super Mario Bros. Wii which is not responsive after 5-10 minutes.

Thank you very much for the help!

So in the end, I bought myself a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 for Desktop, and it works very well, so if you can still get your hands on one, I would recommend it.
