I follow the instructions to the letter, but can't seem to get Dolphin to acknowledge my remote. Things always start off fine; My Bluetooth detects "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01" and is listed under the devices, but that's as far as I get. Now the images from the main site's guide don't match up with my version of Dolphin so maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like it would be pretty straightforward.

I click "Real Wiimote" under "Wiimote 1" and hit ok. But there's no acknowledgement from my controller. No vibration, no lights, no nothing. If I hit 1+2, sync, or any button, the blue lights just flash for a bit before turning off. THis happens regardless of whether or not I'm in Dolphin, in the program's menus, or on the desktop. The "pair up" option also doesn't do anything for me.

Not sure where to go from here. I have an official Wii Motion Plus controller with Nunchuck, and the Bluetooth/wireless IR devices I'm using were recommended by several people that said they work just fine for Dolphin. I'm sure there's just some stupid step I'm missing, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any suggestions?

When you hit pair up , press 1+2 shortly after. I here the motion plus in side is a bad choice and cause issues. Though I dont have one.

Use the "Show Devices" bluetooth command and make sure that no Wiimotes have been remembered by the BT stack. If there are any, use the "Remove devices" command and remove them all.

I know how pair up works, but it just wasn't having it. I'm guessing the issues is the fact that I'm using the built-in Motion Plus controller.

I've tried several times to remove the device and add it again. Never works.

I have a Nyko Wand (aka Wii Remote) and Kama (aka Nunchuk) and it is totally doing the exact same thing. Detects just fine in Windows, and Dolphin is not seeing it.

I have this exact same issue. None of my wiimotes (i have access to about 4 or 5 of them usually) will work. I am running on an M14x with built in Dell 375 bluetooth. None of my wiimotes are the plus kind, all of them are the old ones. One of them I have even synced to an old xp machine fine. . . I have NO idea what is causing this and its endlessly frustrating.

The most I get out of the "pair up" button is dolphin going non-responsive. Disabling and renabling bluetooth, remove device. . . nothing works. The devices ALWAYS show up in the device window that says they are connected, but the lights on the wiimote stop lighting up soon after connecting to windows. Dolphin has never once said my wiimote is connected. It always says "0" for number connected.

I have tried so many things to get this to work . . . I have even used wiimotes on windows before. . . but with this new machine . . . it fails consistently.

Has ANYBODY figured out how to solve this? Do I need to get drivers from somewhere else? Am I missing something? Someone PLEASE help!

Pair Up function only works with Microsoft Bluetooth Stack, so if Pair Up isn't working try using Toshiba Bluetooth Stack or BlueSoleil. That way wiimote will be paired up automaticly in dolphin. I have wiimote with built-in motion plus and it defenetly causing troubles, but with Toshiba Bluetooth Stack games that don't support motion plus now work just fine.

The most interesting thing in that issue, that at first day motion plus worked just perfect, so it should be a working feature, but on the other day it started to cause some serious bugs that freeze wiimote or even make it to make glitch noizes.

Well with some more looking around I was able to solve this. It turns out that when my drivers for my bluetooth got overwritten (thanks to my PS3 controller program called MotioninJoy) . . . the services didn't get reinstalled when Windows auto-installed the old drivers. I had to go online to my bluetooth provider (in this case Dell because Dell only allows drivers signed by them to be installed on their machines most of the time) and get WIDDCOM reinstalled. Basically. . . if you have been messing around with drivers at all on your computer with any other programs. . . Uninstall those drivers (for me I had to go to device manager and remove MotioninJoy) and then go to your bluetooth provider and install fresh. Just because you have the icon for bluetooth does NOT mean all the services and functionality is installed. Install from your provider even if things seem like they are working.
