Hi everyone!
I've downloaded the newest version of Dolphin Emulator on this site (4.0-4875)

https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

to play Rune Factory Frontier, but I run into a problem that the emulator doesn't recognize my graphic card (Nvidia GT 720m) and can only use the onboard graphic processor (Intel HD 4000), thus the game runs very slowly and is unplayable

(please look at attachment 1)

I searched for the solution to my problem on google and tried everything in those posts

post 1

and

Post 2

Which include update to the newest graphic driver, change the emulator settings and reinstall a clean version of windows

But they all don't work for me

So I write this post to ask for a solution to my problem, can anyone help?

This is my computer's specs

Processor: Intel Core i5 3337U
Graphics Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M
RAM: 4GB

Thanks for your help
I followed the post's instruction and the emulator runs faster and becomes more playable, but it still cannot recognize my graphic card, thus the fps is not stable yet, at some scene, the fps drops to very low. Is there any solution to the graphic card problem?

P/S: the problem solved, I switched to use OpenGL and the game runs quite well with a stable framerate, thanks alot for your help. Maybe my computer has problem with DirectX3D

Even if it says IntelHD, if you followed the steps it is using your NVIDIA. It's just how Optimus is.

Core i5 3337U is a ultra low voltage CPU , it's weaker than normal Core i5 and some Core i3
Most game won't run full speed on that CPU

When I'm using DirectX3D, it shows Intel HD 4000 and when the game is running, the screen shows that information too. But when I switch to OpenGL, the infor shows that the emulator is using my graphic card, that's cool, now I'm using OpenGL and the game runs smoothly

I don't think that the CPU matters here, actually my friend has a lower specs PC (with a core i3 2nd gen) but it runs this game smoothly. Therefore, I think that the problem comes from the emulator itself, maybe the system has not been compatible with the graphic card or the directX3D yet

You should watch for the yellow text that appears when booting a game. If it says nVidia here, it's using the discrete GPU (even if Dolphin lists Intel HD Graphics in the Graphics settings window).

What I found really strange is that apparently now Dolphin have a built-in game profile in current nVidia drivers and the default setting isn't "Use global setting", it's "Use integrated graphics". I didn't investigate more but I noticed that after doing a clean install of the newest 347.09 drivers, I went to the nVidia Control Panel and selected the nVidia card as the global one. After doing that, all apps automatically opened with the nVidia card (like what they did with the old drivers), except Dolphin that had a profile (again, not added by me) overriding the global settings in favour of the Integrated GPU...

Thought I posted a response to this.....

Your CPU is an ultra low voltage (ULV) processor, meaning it is clocked lower than a normal CPU. Your friends CPU is stronger because it most likely has a higher clock speed, and there wasn't that big of a speed difference between 2nd and 3rd gen Intel processors.

Dolphin relies on the CPU more than the GPU, which is the opposite from PC games that rely on the GPU. So the faster your CPU is the faster it runs.

I've tried the solution in the post #2, and my CPU runs at ~2.5GHz speed when I play game, that's ok, now I can play the game smoothly and I'm trying other games
