Hi.
Recently I reinstalled Dolphin on my laptop after reinstalling Windows 11, but the program did not install on Program Files or any other folder (like I believe it did the previous time), but on the desktop. I am curious about several things:
1: What exactly does the installation of Dolphin do? I mean, does it create new files on some hidden folder or anything like that? I was able to run it by simply clicking the .exe, no installation process or anything.
2: Apart from the Documents folder and the main folder with the .exe and other files, are there any other folders or files that are necessary to run it?
3: Is it necessary to keep the .exe file inside the main folder along with the other files that come when you unzip the donwloaded folder?
4: Why does it say [HEAD] on the window title of Dolphin? I think it previously didn't (it is version 5.0-18182).
To clarify, I kept the Documents folder in an USB and copy-pasted it to my laptop before downloading Dolphin again.
Thanks everyone in advance.
