I think it looks much better with the screenshots added. Just pictures of settings and text wasn't enough. It kinda looks more complete now, to me anyway.

Yeah it does doesn't it.
Well I'm done for now, and I think I have done enough for one day. Hope you're happy with how things look, I know I am. I'll look into if something needs a change but I'll do that another day. 11-01-2012, 05:59 AM
I would be willing to make game discussion threads if people need them to be changed. Idk what ones I would make though, someone would have to ask.

Checkout the game thread index for a game that you have and one that is old and has outdated settings and information. It's best that people follow the game thread template Neobrain created, but if you make a nice thread, it'll work either way.

Any game thread where the settings of the 1st post dont reflect on the latest revs can be considered outdated.

I originally posted this in the Prime 2 thing, but it seems more fitting here.
Why are the recommendations for the ancient 3.0? Does it use the settings and stuff for it as well? There are alot of things 3.0 needs that current revisions do not. If it sticks to 3.0 it is technically already outdated, and will be nearly useless once 4.0 becomes available (in an indefinite period of time from now ). Furthermore, you seem to be doing a carte blanc recommendation of 3.0 for games, but alot of games suck with 3.0, like the Prime games. That's a good question which I'll gladly provide my own answer too.
The reason I promote Dolphin 3.0 is that it's the latest stable official release and I only use official releases when I play my games. People should always try to use the official release first because they are there for a reason. And furthermore none of the two Prime games suck with Dolphin 3.0, I have completed both on both difficulties with no problems at all, they work just great. When Dolphin 4.0 ships I will change to that instantly, but until then Dolphin 3.0 works fine with these games nuff said. 11-01-2012, 07:18 AM
Some games should definitely use later than 3.0 though -- Skyward Sword, for example, looks horrendous in 3.0 unless you use EFB->RAM which kills performance.

Yeah it's annoying that it's the only game I have to use a revision for in able to play But 4.0 should take care of that hopefully, then it's stable release all the way. |
