A weird error...

I just downloaded dolphin and was running a game called Final fantasy iv the after years. However, a weird error occured which makes me unable to play this game. I mean, I couldnt access the game's main menu, but the music did sound properly(I could hear the theme song). Also I could hear the sound of the button when I press up, down, X or Y. What could this error possibly be? Please help.

List your specs. You need support for OGL 2.1. Try Dx9 plugin

DX9 plugin?

You need to update your Dx to August 2009 for the plugin to appear in the plugin options.

You mean the plugin Dolphin Direct 3D9? It is already in the list.

post your hardware specs, but im in agreement with khrz that u probably have opengl 2.0 support but not 2.1

u have opengl 2.1 support, try updating your drivers. are u having this problem with any other games?
