Erm, firstly, Hello! Just started using Dolphin today for the first time and...well..thank you!
After an accident involving some mis-timed sneezing and myself being stood at the top of the stairs holding my GC i've not been able to play games from my extensive collection for, well, ages. So thanks and keep up the great work!

And so to the meat an potatoes of this thread. I've currently only got a couple of games ready to play on the emulator so haven't actually run into this (potential) problem yet but I can't seem to find an answer buried in the app or on the Dolphin website so I've come to beg around here.

Do the internal memory cards in the emulator have a size limit as their physical counterparts or will the emulator increase in size to my game save needs in due time?

As I say, stupid Q but it's been bugging me frankly!

kind regards,
Simon Johnson

No, the Memory Cards of Dolphin has a fixed size of 16MB. However, you can "swap" the Memory Cards by renaming the file, and assuming that you have two slots, the total "fixed" size is 32MB. About Wii Saves, I never get any error such as No space or low space, etc., but probably a Developer would explain better the Wii Saves part...

Thanks for the clarification and I'm not interested in Wii stuff but cheers. Maybe this should go in the FAQ?
Also, request for future update where you can "swap" cards with the MC manager rather than this method which isn't n00b friendly. Maybe the ability to apply a nickname to a memory card and then you select from a list of nicknames the cards you want in slot A and B and it loads them. But im just blabbing on now aren't I, lol.

An option to choose the Memory Card size would work well too...
