Hah, yes this is pretty rich considering this was written on the same day a Dolphin developer filed a copy write claim against Dolphin VR on Oculus share. I don't particularly like Oculus' licensing terms, but I don't like Dolphin's any better. Seems pretty far from freedom to use for any purpose...
You are allowed to use Dolphin for any purpose, even violate the license. But you cannot distribute Dolphin if there is a license violation. The violation in Dolphin VR is relatively minor, so I didn't think it was necessary to file a takedown, but it seems not everyone agrees.
This is in contrast with the Oculus License, which does not even allow you to still use the application if there is a violation.
