A question about the Rogue Squadron games

Is them working well on Dolphin something that is just never/no way/not even being looked at/not happening because of the hacks Factor 5 used and how Dolphin is coded? Or is it something that could potentially, maybe, one day be "fixed"? The wiki pages simply say "proven difficult to emulate" which is pretty ambiguous, so I was wondering if it's any more clear cut than that.

The above is the most correct answer. One day these games might work. We're aiming for 100% compatibility.

Is work still being done on the zFreeze bug? Rogue Squadron II seems to work perfectly except for the bug, which makes it unplayable.

zfreeze is very complicated and crushed neobrain's soul. Eventually will bribe him with enough cookies to go back at it.
