Hi Everyone,

I'm using the new 2.0 release

I have 2 questions

1. how do you get rid of the yellow text that appears when you load a game? It details the game location, graphics card, cores, etc..

2. I found an old thread about people having issues with dolphin taking advantage of the two threads found in each core on i7 cpus.. but he never posted an update. Has anyone found a way for Dolphin to do this? He mentioned disabling hyperthreading.

I'd appreciate any help

1. You can't, unless you edit the code yourself

2. Hyperthreading option should be somewhere in BIOS (not an i7 user, so I'm not sure)

1. oh well

2. So I will see a speed increase if I turn off hyper threading? or is it fine the way it is. I have Mario Kart double dash at 60FPS and the wii Smash Broos at about 45 to 60 with the 2.6ghz i7 (not overclocked)

are there any plans to have the option of removing the yellow text (like the same way the mouse cursor can be removed)? I'm sure it wouldn't be hard feature to add. the info is helpful but can also be distracting, especially when saving your game
