hey guys. im new here so i'll keep it short.
First off.. let me say that i've been testing the new builds of dolphin and nice work. Amazing to see this level of emulation this soon, especially for the Wii. I have been a fan of emulation since it first started back with nesticle... and although i have all the systems i emulate ( i collect hardware ) it still amazes me to no end that you can run these things on a pc. =)
anyway...
I know you have more pressing issues to deal with, but i was just curious if we could expect to see a microphone emulation (or a way to bypass it) for games like beatles rock band. i heard there is a way to bypass the mic check by getting a save file with the calibration already saved.. but i cant seem to find one. Mic emulation would be nice.. or if we could use a real mic.. would be awesome.
Also, will the next stable release of dolphin have better fps and speed than the current svn and pre-relase builds? i know there are different ways to compile it etc (i cant do it myself) but i was just curious since some games have dropped in speed and fps since 4771. I expect that the final stable release will be optimized?
Also.. do you plan on adding support for Direct X 10 soon? it seems to run a little faster than directx 9. I do have problems with Open GL as far as graphics glitches.. but with directx 9 it seems to work great.. just slow on some games. Are there any special files i need to download for openGL to work better? I have all the updated drivers for my video card and directx 10 installed.
Anyway.. Great job and keep up the great work. Good to see people are still interested in emulation.
Running Windows Vista 32 home ultimate. CPU is AMD phenom quad core 2.20 ghz with 3 gig ram. Video card is Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT.
