So I'm attempting to use the Mayflash, 4-port Gamecube controller peripheral with my PC (Windows 7, x64). Dolphin works fine (I've tried both version 4.0.2 and 5.0) but the controller configuration is a little off when I attempt to input the control scheme. I've done some research and plenty of folks have had similar problems but none exactly like the ones I'm having (this all happens before I get into a game and am just mapping the controls). On top of that, I've installed and reinstalled the Mayflash firmware updates several times and continue to get the same result. I've tried other controllers just to make sure the problem wasn't on the input end, but again, same result.
Here's what happens (currently with Dolphin 4.0.2):
Cstick left = left (labeled as "Button 6"). Cstick right = right (labeled as "Button 8").
All other Cstick inputs receive no response.
Dpad inputs are identical to the analog stick inputs. (labeled as "Hat 0 N," "Hat 0 E," Hat 0 W," and "Hat 0 S" in respective directions).
I've attached a screencap for demonstration.
The problems shift occasionally. Sometimes the Cstick input registers only the right angled inputs (up-right, right, and down-right) all as being "up." Sometimes it registers Cstick "left" as being "up." There doesn't seem to be any consistency.
If anyone has any help they could offer, I would certainly appreciate it. Many thanks!
