So it's called the Xbox One eh. Microsoft likes to make things more confusing.
Microsoft is doing pretty good (missed the first part). 15 exclusives with 8 new IPs? My. Lol now Nancy Tell 'em talks about TV stuff. Ah, this can't get more crazy. A live-action Halo TV series with Steven Spielberg?
T-that was it? Nothing interesting... Just a new Call of Duty with exclusive deals with Microsoft on IW Engine 2.6.

Seeing more "meh" responses elsewhere on the 'net. Just curious Garteal (and others too), what could they show you that was interesting? I know what I would have liked to see, but I'm curious about everyone else here.

Right, we have about 4 months to obtain: the SDK for this machine; the families of the best programmers in the world; the people who designed the XBox 360; every document ever which describes the innards of the 360 or the One; delroth; enough liquid nitrogen to cool everybody's XBox One's processor once we've overclocked it; a time machine for each XBox One to sit inside as it will still be too slow as well as an omniscient being which is willing to help.
If we do all that, we may give this machine partial backwards compatibility.

Sooo, who's up for writing an emulator for this
Still an 8-core CPU is over-kill in my opinion, i wonder what they'll put in their next console.
......?????
One delroth is not sufficient. We need more delroths to work in parallel to even come close to it.
Shonumi Wrote:Just curious Garteal (and others too), what could they show you that was interesting? At this point I didn't really expect much to be honest since both Sony and Microsoft have to save the big announcements for e3 (Nintendo went solo once again with their Nintendo Directs). More focus on the console and hardware would've been nice though (I missed the first 30 mins or so, so they might've covered it) so that they can blast away with the games at e3. They did make me curious with their 15 exclusives, 8 new IP speech. Now to hope they're not all FPS's. Zee Wrote:Still an 8-core CPU is over-kill in my opinion, i wonder what they'll put in their next console.Nah, it's not, especially considering the fact that they had to go with lower clockspeeds. I'm glad they went with more cores, albeit at the loss of a higher clockspeed. Still. This allows for more stuff to be calculated on the CPU or improvements on things like AI, rendering (more enemies on screen), etc. |
