Hi all!
I have been trying to use my Wii u pro controller on dolphin for a while now. I looked in the forum and was not able to find anything to help me with this issue. Until I stumbled on a YouTube video where one comment said that the only to play on dolphin with a Wii u pro controller would be with a 8bitdo adapter.
So, I bought one tested it and it worked like magic. I was able to play for about 2 days. Until one time I was training in a fighting game on GameCube and felt asleep. When I woke up laptop had no battery so had to charge it. Once done I reopened Dolphin, started the game but my controller wasn't responding. I tried to reconfigure the device and everytime I hit the refresh button it was able to see the adapter but there's a message saying :
[disconnected] SDL/0/8bitdo Receiver.
I tried the following steps.
- Install new version of dolphin ( had ver. 5.0-13452 changed to 5.0- 13454)
- Install new version for the 8bitdo adapter. ( Ver. 1.30 to 1.33)
- Reset controller settings by deleting my inputs.
- Tried 3 different Wii U pro controllers, none worked.
I'm on Mac OS Catalina Ver. 10.15.6
Processor : 2 Ghz Quad-core Intel core i5
Memory : 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X
Graphics : Intel iris plus graphics 1536 MB
Still not working. Was wondering if anyone could help me with this...
