8 xbox360 Controllers support

Hi,
I have 8 xbox 360 Controllers (4 wired and 4 wireless with receiver)
I have tested them and they all work simultaneously in games allowing 8 players on pc (Gang Beasts).


Bomberman Blast on Wii can be played with 8 players (4 wiimotes + 4 Gamecube controllers)

So I want to play Bomberman 8 players on dolphin with 8 xbox 360 controllers:

All my controllers + receiver appear in windows:



My controllers panel in Dolphin 4.0-5496-x64:



But in the Wiimote controller panel there are only 4 xbox controllers visible instead of 8:



And it's the same in the GameCube controller panel:



I think it's because Xinput (the protocol used by the 360 controllers) only allow 4 pads;
But normally they automatically become DirectInput when Xinput isn't supported by a game or soft on PC;
It works with ePSXe (emulator PS One) I was able to play MicroMachines v3 with those 8 360 controllers

Do you have a solution please? if it's impossible, that could be a good feature to add in the future

Good job finding an 8 player game, I remember your other thread about this

I don't know, a dev would be able to say why it only sees 4. I tried digging around in the controller code but I can't see anything useful.
