nah, i don't think, this would help him.

Try MMU speed hack: right click on the game -> properties -> MMU speed hack (yeah, i know, this can make the game run slower but it's worth a try)

I'll have to try some of this stuff. I actually just tried playing this game tonight as well. Tried a lot of different settings. The game just refuses to run higher than 7-12 FPS. I have an Intel i5 2500k as well, and I hear Sandy Bridge processors are among the best for Dolphin.

Seems like something about the game is just not very compatible. I also couldn't get any of the opening/intro videos to show on screen. Audio played, video didn't. I tried messing with frame limiting, audio engines, video engines, resolutions, renderers--anything I can think of. Nothing really had an impact.

In-game, system-rendered cutscenes played smooth. As soon as gameplay started it got bad though.

Also, my processor usage never went over 50%. Game speed was reported as 100% as well.

Actually, they literally are the best, and will be until the end of the month, when Ivy Bridge is released. In theory you have the best (as in you can't get more than an extra 3% without spending much more), especially if you overclock it.
