I first addressed this issue way back in the 4200s but it seems it has returned in 6054, the one that is recommended for Twilight Princess, at least according to most.
  • Intel Core i7-2600 QC processor (8MB Cache, 3.4GHz)
  • CPU Instructions : MMX, SSE (1, 2, 3, 3S, 4.1, 4.2), EM64T, VT-x, AES, AVX

I have 3.0
You have to remember, the admins in here are suggesting different builds left, right, and center

No one is recommending old builds, you were asking for one and so you got a link to one. Even so, you should already know that when you use an old build you're using it for one specific reason and that anything else that is wrong with it is not anyone's problem since there are newer release builds to use.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Fixed that for you. I've been trying my best to get this to stop but it's so hard to convince people when they had a crash and somebody comes along and says "hey this revision hasn't crashed yet for me, use this one". Most of the time it's just dumb luck but it's hard to convince people to just use 3.0 when so many people do that.

Isn't that what the "Fastest and Best Revisions" thread is supposed to be for

No. That thread is totally unofficial and not supported by the devs in any way. It's one guys opinion about which builds he liked/had good luck with, nothing more.

That's precisely why I'm in favor of stop regularly building Dolphin, and putting on for download only the releases. Anyone who'd be able to really help and give good support knows how to build anyways... Problem is, right now as the site is not building, so the noobs learnt to look on the Git Discussion Forums, something I could never have predicted. Tongue

Anyways, do those obscure and awfully explained (not to mention poorly detailed) crash reports (which in my eyes is all the noob user posts here, besides hardware related stuff) really help that much?
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Creators Update
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 960 @ 3.6 GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 2GB GDDR5
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-870A-USB3 AM3+ Revision
RAM: HyperX 8GB Dual Channel @ 1600Mhz
