I doubt it's a computer issue if I tested it on both. I've turned the router firewall off and allowed dolphin through windows firewall. The last think I can think off is MBAM but I don't think it comes with a firewall.

@JMC idk about that actually, KHg8m3r and I had a similar problem just a few days ago. He had done netplay on his connection before, and we used the build he successfully did it on. After it didn't work for us, he tried to connect using two computers on his end and it didn't work for him. We assumed it was his network (he is not in charge of it) but maybe it's something else? Do you want to try connecting to me to see if it works?

I was talking to JMC, if you can't connect to two other people you won't be able to connect to me.

Update. Instead of just allowing dolphin through my firewall I outright disabled it; now instead of crashing it just displays "Traversal server timed out while connecting to the host". I guess it's a step in the right direction.

EDIT: possible false alarm? seems to be back 2 crashing

EDIT2: I just tried hosting on LAN and it went fine. This is more or less a confirmed internet issue now. My router is a Belkin F7D1301v1 if anyone has experience with it.

EDIT3: Setting my router as strictly an access point worked. I don't want it to be strictly an access point though so I'm going to toy with the firewall and stuff more.

Looking at my router settings, I've disabled the firewall, ICMP ping blocking, WPS, put my computer in the DMZ, disabled DHCP. None of them seemed to work. I'm honestly stumped at this point and considering buying a new router because this basic one just isn't getting the job done.
