5.0-8775 Not saving to oor reafing from SRAM.raw

So, as the title suggests, the SRAM.raw file isn't being written to or read from either at all or properly.  I've even tried deleting the SRAM.raw file.  when I boot up a game (I have the IPL.bin installed), I get the dreaded dead SRAM battery message (System settings were lost.  Calendar and other settings were reset.  Choose system settings now?).  If I switch to an earlier build, the problem goes away.  I just wanted to bring this to the attention of the proper individual(s), in the event that they are/were unaware of the issue.
