Hey all.

I updated a few days ago to the build 5.0-4889 so I could try out the new feature, the ubershaders. I chose the Hybrid option, waited a few minutes and every game went as smooth as they could (since my laptop has low-end hardware).

The first game I played was F-Zero GX, which was working flawlessly using that build. Then, I decided yesterday to use 4994, waiting again for the shaders to compile, and try the game again; but it turns out that the game messed up. It will keep resetting itself, like when you disable Sync GPU Thread. And worst thing is, now it does the same in 4889 (which was working previously)

I started to get worried so I chose to keep testing the rest of my games, and I did found more problems (in both builds):

1- For some reason, Skip EFB Access from CPU is part of the defaults for both Super Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker. This particular option causes a massive slowdown (bringing the framerate to single digits) during the sequence that plays in the title screen. Happens on both 4889 and 4994. (The slowdown does go away after the title screen is shown in Wind Waker).

2- Some Virtual Console titles (Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Kart and Super Mario World) suffered from artifacts that would appear intermittently in the upper half of the screen. This happens on 4994 and it´s difficult to see unless you slow down the emulation speed.

3- For some reason, trying to open the Graphics options while running Mario Kart Wii crashes Dolphin. Happens on both builds.

4- Although not very noticeable, some games that use FMV (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Party 4) have tearing while the intro videos play. Doesn´t happen in actual gameplay. All this in build 4994.

The screenshots are attached. Hope you guys can help. My specs are in my profile.

Update: Could not upload Mario Sunshine´s, Wind Waker´s and Brawl´s screenshots because of file size limits.

Sunshine´s/Wind Waker´s graphic settings are included, though.

If you installed the latest Windows 10 Creators update recently, it resets the Windows power option fast-boot option to On. Try doing a full system restart?

I have build 1511. I did a hard reset yesterday if that´s what you mean.

It sounds like you're having problems with your graphics card...

You think it could have anything to do with the GPU drivers? Or is my GPU about to die already?

Right now I have the 17.10.1731 Radeon driver package (software version 17.4.4).

EDIT: Forgot to tell you that I´m using Direc3D, at 1x IR and no enhacements. I´m not using CPU clock override, and I´m using JIT recompiler.

Some updates here.

I used the Reset function of Windows as KHg8m3r suggested. The F-Zero GX issue kept happening.

I tried an older version, 5.0-4279. The issue still happened. But then I did something.
In the game´s properties, I set the dual-core determinism to "Nothing" and then disabled Dual-Core mode in Dolphin´s configs. The game booted correctly. (Game booted fine again after reactivating Dual-Core mode, too).

Maybe something slipped in between these last builds?

EDIT: In that same build, EFB Access to CPU doesn´t cause the massive slowdown on SMS and TLoZ: WW.

UPDATE: Updated to 5.0-5310 this week. Most of the other issues are gone, but opening the Graphics config while running Mario Kart Wii still crashes Dolphin.
