Well obviously 30Hz will be noticeable on your desktop or on a game that can normally hit 60 fps.

And the Seiki HDTVs are bad in other areas too. Contrast ratio, response times, light bleed, you name it. 4k @ 60Hz is already possible on display port or with two HDMI/DVI links. And the asus 4k monitor already supports it. 60Hz support will be standard on 4k computer monitors but not on 4k HDTVs.

ASUS PQ321Q 4K 3840x2160 Monitor 30hz

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wa-DRVqPJRo

edit: still don't get it, those monitors with 4k res are still not big enough ( size like mine ), i think i don't need a 4k monitor because they are to much expensive right now....

I'm not going to sit through a hour and a half long video but if this guy is claiming it's a 30Hz monitor he is wrong. This is a 60Hz monitor and it supports 60Hz when running at 3840 x 2160 either over displayport or dual hdmi.

That's impossible. This is a 32" monitor. They don't make monitors bigger than that. Only HDTVs.

Well yeah this is literally the very first 4k monitor ever made. It's going to take awhile for the price to come down.

Wait what? That doesn't make any sense. Monitors don't have drivers. On top of that the model you listed doesn't exist.

Ok so here's what I've gathered on my own since you didn't elaborate.

This is supposedly a rare monitor that can do 75Hz at 1080p. But despite being listed as 75Hz on retailer websites the instruction manual, acer support team, and the panel specs sheet all claim that it only does 60Hz at 1080p. Some users claim that you can get 75Hz @ 1080p working but only through VGA. I've also read that this caused issues with horizontal resolution. Clearly to get it working on DVI/HDMI you'll need the .inf file. I've also seen claims that the .inf files only work with a 32 bit OS. Since this monitor is so uncommon I can't really verify any of these random forum posts I'm finding on google.

Oh and the acer support page is throwing a internal error at me. Which is where I'm guessing you got the .inf file from. Yay.....

So from what I'm guessing either:
1. You got 75Hz working but can't get it working in all games or
2. You cannot get 75Hz working at all because the .inf files available don't work with your OS

I'm not sure whether these are actual drivers or just an EDID profile update. Since it is a .inf file it might be an actual driver. Almost any .inf file that works with win vista should work with win 7 as long as it uses the right x86 extension (x86-32 or x86-64).

That sounds like my monitor (but mine is 21") the specs and stuff say 60 Hz, but if I go into CCC I can set it to 75 Hz

your maximum refreshrate is for a lower resolution like something 1024x768 Smile, but im not sure, can't remember it anymore if there was 60hz, i had 6870XFX before

edit: @natural
i overclocked mine to 70hz works in some games, but doesn't work for left 4 dead example because i can't change the hz, even if i put the launchoptions there... still doesn't work
in Nvidia there is a option : highest refreshrate but its not visible, until i update the .inf file, it will be visible and btw in dolphin emulator works great because it uses the desktop settings

So does the .inf file work or not? Have you tried it yet?
