Hey guys! I recently got a 4k TV and wanted to relive my childhood in 4k. I have a water cooled i7 4790k @ stock and a R9 390 @ stock. On my 1080p monitor when I raise the internal resolution of the game to 4k and x2 msaa, all my games run fine. When I connect it to my 4k TV, the games run very slow (15-25 fps even with no msaa). I was wondering if anyone played around with the settings in Dolphin to find the best configuration for 4k and whether one graphics back end is better than another.
My hypothesis for why the game is laggy at true 4k is that my gpu is the bottle neck but I'm not 100% sure.
