I was wondering if i bought 2 of the mayflash adapters (2 controllers per port), would i be able to play 4 player super smashbros with my friends off of my laptop? (it's a gaming laptop, open for overclocking so it should be able to handle it.) I haven't used a game controller on my computer before, but i've set some up for my friends so i know how to set them up if it's compatible.

hoping for good news! Thanks.

Yep. Just remember to set "standard controllers" on all the controller ports in Config > GameCube, and set up all of the controllers in GCPad (use this as a reference). Also remember that each pad will use a different device (DInput/0, DInput/1, Dinput/2, you get the idea).

Should be able to, the Mayflash can have problems on older drivers where it will drop inputs if both controllers are plugged into one. I do not think that happens any more.

Your system might not be powerful enough to handle 4 players though

it handles 3 computers and myself, the sound is all that lags noticeably. it shouldn't be too bad, but if i lower the graphics settings, especially the AA and resolution possibly, i should be fine. thanks everyone!
