I've been browsing the iNteRwEbz for quite some time and I can't seem to find and gamecube adapters with 4 ports.

Are the 2 port adapters the only available ones?

If you ultimate goal is 4 players I may be your only option. For cost I would suggest waiting for the four-play release.
