[4.0-7840] Graphical Glitches with Dump Frames

I just got a new computer that is substantially stronger than my previous one, so I thought it would be able to dump frames better. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. The playback seems smoother, but the visuals became garbage. All present codecs seem to be doing this. This is what SUPER SMASH BROS. Melee's title screen ends up looking like:

This didn't happen on my old computer. I also followed the same settings (except for higher resolution.) Could it be my specs?

Model: Lenovo Thinkpad P50
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz 2.59 GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Quadro M1000M 2GB
Installed memory (RAM): 8 GB DDR4-2133 SODIMM
Resolution: 1920x1080 (mirroring with in-game Dolphin settings)
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64
Cores: 4

Thanks!

EDIT: Just tried Dolphin's lowest graphical settings, and the same messed up playback appears. I guess resolution has nothing to do with it.

This has nothing to do with your computer or drivers. This happens if the game's resolution changes while dumping frames, which Melee does automatically. Older versions of Dolphin ignored the game's resolution changes, so this wouldn't get triggered. There is a workaround, which I think is to enable Stretch to Window. You'll probably want to set the window to a proper size first.

I think we fixed it by splitting on resolution change.

Yes, in 5.0-97.

Ah sweet. No big deal then, I'll just have a NetPlay Dolphin and a recording Dolphin.
