I tried Mario Kart Wii (custom and original) and Wind Waker. All froze as soon as the game started, (in the case of Wind Waker) after the free-DSP-ROM message.
Also, why is the EXE called DolphinWX.exe? (note: 305 fixes DolphinWX but not JITIL crash)

Can you tell us which revision was the very last revision where JITIL was working?

I think it's 4.0-181=>193, assuming the Google Code comments are correct. I don't know if there are any later working builds, followed by another broken JITIL.
Also, I can't download any versions, so not much I can do now. According to isup.me, it's down, not a problem on my end.

Confirmed.
I don't know when the hard-crashes started, but it still doesn't work, crashing.

Try disabling the DSP on thread option - both Wind Waker and Mario Kart Wii work on my sistem using 4.0-298.

If that option does not fix it, let us know the exact version because I can't even begin to help until I have that information.

4.0-305 definitely doesn't work.
DSP on thread is not and has never been on. I turned audio to DSound (instead of XAudio2) just to be sure, and it still crashes.
Not sure if http://www.pastebay.net/1343078
Interestingly, 4.0.1 also crashes. No it works.
