I have a problem with a real wiimote - it disconnects randomly while playing the game. When this happens, wiimote will physically turn off and I have to re-pair it.
  • This happens with both BlueSoleil and Toshiba stacks.
  • Checking "Alternate Wiimote Timing" and disabling "Wiimote Motor" does not help.
  • Batteries are fine (all 4 lights are blinking when pairing) and I can left it idle as long as I want before starting a game.
  • Bluetooth Adapter isBelkin F8T017, which is on the supported list.
Is there a chance anything can be done about this?

I have tried to get more information from the logs, but dolphin does not write anything about wiimote (apart from connected and disconnected). Maybe a developer is willing to add some more logging lines about wiimote communications, so issues like this could be solved easier?

When the WiiMote "turns off", does the 4 lights flash when you press a button? Or doesn't them flashing until you hold the power button?

If so, then go into WiiMote config, switch WiiMote mode to any options except real WiiMote, hit refresh, switch back to real WiiMote, hit refresh and it should work again.

They flash.

I know I can reconnect and refresh, but that happens quite often and its annoying.

Well, you probably won't get support, some 3rd party Wiimotes works, some not. This is why we always recommend using official Nintendo Wiimotes =/
