Hello. It's me trying to solve a problem in the threads for the 4th time without any solution .-. (The time I had a problem with Photo Channel doesn't count because it was solved). So I have been recently playing MKWii with 4 players and I noticed something doesn't work. We play the original experience of MKWii with the original controllers, but there's always a hassle. I have 4 Wii Remotes (4th one not detecting, which I made a thread about), 1 Wii Wheel, 2 Nunchuks, 2 working and good to play Classic Controllers, and 1 GameCube Controller.. It's a hassle to know about all the problems with the controllers the players are using "My car won't drive" "The joystick is drifting" "Why isn't it detecting" so I recently got 2 more GameCube Controllers but I noticed that the 3rd player doesn't detect. I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with the GameCube adapter, because I didn't dump it in water, and it's totally not that one of the controllers is dead, because I tested the other GameCube controller on the second port and it works fine. Game night is gonna be soon and I need help. I don't want to reset the game just to let the players change the controllers. Pleas help. Thanks!
3rd and 4th GameCube controller not detected.

I don’t see the name of the brand of the GCN adapter on it but the manufacturer clearly states that the adapter was made for Wii U, PC, AND Switch. I bought the adapter in 2018.
Also as I was writing this post, I tested the adapter on PC mode and in the Switch. Same thing happens. But how!? Nothing could’ve happened during those 2 years of having bought it. Anyways problem “solved” but I’m still angry at the fact that the 4th Wii Remote won’t connect 04-06-2021, 11:23 PM
What bluetooth adapter do you have? It probably doesn't support so many controllers at once. You could also try bluetooth passthrough:

Yes, I've learnt the hard way that some adapters can only support 2 controllers reliably, and not more.
So, on a totally unrelated note, which adapter should I look for if I want it to handle 4 controllers without issues? All of my controllers are 1st and 2nd gen official Nintendo ones. |
