360 Right Analog Stick sensitivity issues

Playing Windwaker (Which I legally own) and I'm using a brand new 360 controller.

The right stick is way too sensitive making it hard to control Link. I have tried changing the deadzone/radius and combos of both, but the sensitivity will not change until the radius is below 50, and even then, when I press LEFT the sensitivity is still where it was, but only when I press right does it change to the slowed down setting I've set it to. This is driving me crazy. I've calibrated, running Windows 8, and messed with the settings several times. Help!

I am aware the left/right are reversed, it's for the camera in Windwaker.

edit: the 15/50 on the right stick are what I've been messing with.

Have you tried calibrating the controller?

I run Windows 8, so I find it under devices/printers, right click it, go to settings or whatever, hit calibrate, and then I do what it tells me. *shrug* Hasn't helped.

edit: the weird part is, in Dolphin under controllers, if I switch the left/right so left is right and right is left etc. the issue switches. So before, when pressing right was slow cam and left was fast, right is now fast and left is slow....and I don't get a single chance in the sensitivity until I get less than 50 on radius.

edit2: I somehow got both of the left and right to work together, but the sensitivity won't change unless I lower the radius to about 35.

Does this happen on the latest dev build also? (current is 4.0-5710 as of writing)

I'm on 4.0.2

I'll update now and see what happens.

edit: I updated, and the left/right thing isn't happening (although it wasn't happening on the last build randomly as I said in my other post update), but maybe I'm going about this wrong?

I want the camera to move less fast when I push the control stick, it's just too sensitive, makes it really hard to navigate in Windwaker.

Oh, for that, map something to the modifier tab. That halves the input value when using keyboard keys, it may help for a stick also.

Just map anything to it? Something on the keyboard? Or something on the 360 controller?

I used to map the stick button to it for precision small movements.
