360 controller not detected when configuring Wiimote emulation

Dear Helpers,

I had a problem with windows update and had to start over again.  Fortunately, I had recently backed up my documents and such so I'm not starting completely from scratch.  Unfortunately I can't get the config screen for wiimote to see my Wired XBox 360 Controller.  I can't map any of the buttons or d-pad or pick up the joysticks' movements.

Having read the other posts with similar issues downloaded the latest version, went to device manager and ensured that the drivers were installed and the device was working properly, checked that the controller was properly calibrated, and verified that it worked with other programs.  It simply isn't recognized by the Dolphin Emulator.

I've gotten this controller to work on dolphin before I crashed windows and started over, so I know it 'should' work.  I have some screen shots to show that I'm not crazy.  Perhaps there is something else obvious that I'm missing:

Controller is working properly and is calibrated

I go to "controllers"

I make sure to be on "emulated wiimote" and click "configure"

Not listed under devices or profiles and won't map anything from the controller

I appreciate any help I can get on this topic.

Sincere Thanks,

Bowen

So this problem appears to have fixed itself. Apparently sometime today when I insanely decided to try again Dolphin was able to detect the controller, showed it as XInput/0/Gamepad under devices, and I was able to map everything just fine.

So the answer I guess is to wait a day and see again.

Thanks for the help.

Sincerely,

Bowen
