Okay, to start, I searched through 15 pages of this forum and wound up checking out about 30 threads- none of which helped me.
I'm using a standard, wired 360 controller- drivers have been installed properly and the Dolphin button mapper works perfectly for the controller.
Everything is mapped fine.
Under Configuration, the Port 1 is set to Standard Controller (I've tried with all 4 ports being set to Standard Controller).
The wiimotes are all set to "off."
And I'm trying to play Xenoblade Chronicles.
The game will not recognize the input of my 360 controller and I cannot figure out why for the life of me.
Help?
Okay, I'm fiddling with it more-
It seems like if I have an emulated Wiimote setup, it works somewhat, but if I have any controller ports setup (keyboard OR 360 as standard controller) the input won't be received whether or not I've turned off the Wiimote.
FIXED:
Turns out that in everything I read (even on Xenoblade) only one person in an obscure thread cared to mention that they needed to setup the Wiimote as a classic control and use a Wiimote, since GC controller won't work for the emulated version.
Hope this helps someone else
