30fps but slowmotion and crackly sound

I'm trying to play Tales of Symphonia on my GPD
The framecounter shows 30fps, but the game is slowed down and the sound crackly.
Is there anything I could use to fix this? frameskip?

I used Kernel Audiutor to overclock the cpu, its just slightly better but still bad.

It sounds like your GPD is too slow, so I agree with Helios. Just be aware, however, that Tales of Symphonia switches to 30/25 FPS (NTSC and PAL versions respectively) when moving around on the overworld map. Just an FYI if you ever play it on better hardware.

Additionally, frameskipping doesn't quite work for Dolphin (and most other emulators for 3D consoles) like it does for 2D systems. Frameskipping was problematic and outright broken in some cases. It hasn't been a feature in Dolphin for some time (for good reasons). If your CPU is too slow, it wouldn't have helped anyway.
