Yay for being active on the forum huh? cx anyway so i was dicking around with dolphin as always (cant help dicking with the thing to try and make it run faster and faster) And i was wondering..why is it that i can never set the frame rate to 30 FPS? i mean..i know i can select it but when i do the fps doesnt drop to 30 alone..the vps drops to 50 and the speed drops to 50. Some games on the gamecube/wii never ran at 60 to begin with and i feel like if i could lower the frames it would have to..push as much you know what i mean? just a curiosity thing cx but hell for all i know that wouldnt make a difference anyway

You can't easily change the framerate the game wants to run at – for that, you either need to create a game-specific cheat code or modify the game itself. (Spoiler: that's difficult.)
If you're just mucking around with the FPS limit to set it to 30 for a 30fps game and still have it run full speed, check "Limit by FPS". Otherwise it'll limit by VPS. (Also, no, this is a placebo, it doesn't help your framerate. Just keep it on "Auto" and uncheck "Limit by FPS".)
