I am not sure if anyone else wil find this useful but here goes. Nothing special.

I just got my 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box to use my gamecube controller with Dolphin. After getting all the buttons and d-pad to map, the two sticks just would not work. After a quick google it seems you need to manually map the sticks. To do this right click on the direction you want to map and a new window will appear. To map you want to select the proper direction and then click the Select button and then click OK. See the screenshot below which would map c stick left to Axis Z-

You now need to do this for the other directions of both sticks but figure out what should be mapped to what. To help with this I have done some trial and error and figured it out for you. It's just a case of mapping as I have showed above with the values shown. I also show me independently moving both sticks to show it works.

To make sure this fully worked I tried quick turning in Resident Evil 4 (which is a combination of analog stick and c stick moving in the same direction while beginning to aim with R and it works fine).

yep i figured that out 1 1/2 years ago but i was too lazy to post a guide Big Grin

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)

I am somewhat hijacking this thread. :p
In order to fix this issue (the need to manually map the sticks) I need some info.

Someone in this situation:
Adjust the "Range" of your sticks in that new window until the red dots in the preview actually reach the edges of the box.
Tell me what that range is. (or ranges if it is different for main and c-stick)

Can anyone tell me how to get Wavebird controllers to work with the 3 in one joypad? *puppydog eyes*
I have access to amazon, but I really like how my wavebird feels during play :/
And yes, I mean the wireless controller.

Hmm, I dont think it will support it? As far as I know the only two adapters out there that support wave bird are mine and ralf's ( we share the same code). You can get my adapter by following my sig link.

This guide was a great help. Thank you!

Any suggestions on emulating a Wiimote with a GC Controller?

Idk about the Wiimote entirely, but I have some stuff to add to this guide. If you install the driver, you can use rumble support.

For the Wiimote, use the left stick as the nunchuk stick, left trigger as Z, and map whatever other actions you need to buttons, right triggers and the c-stick and d-pad. Config is heavily dependent in the game.
Desktop:
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 4.4 GHz
GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Factory OC'ed)
RAM: 16 GB @ 1600 MHz
Dolphin Revision:3.0, 3.0-784, 3.5, latest 3.5

Wow thanks a lot gameinn!

I can confirm that this was a problem on my Mayflash 3-in-1 adapter. Was gonna post a topic but had to search first. All the buttons would work including the D-pad, but not the analog sticks.

Also I noticed that the C-Stick Up/Down is reversed in that pic... at least for me it was UP: Zr- and DOWN: Zr+

C-Stick works good now!

This should be a sticky for future Mayflash 3-in-1 users.
