3 in 1 Magic Joy Box issues

I have read a lot of posts here that say people are using this usb adapter and it works. Well, I've yet to get my GC controller to work with this and now the frustration is starting to set in.

Any steps, plugins I should be going through to make sure it all works? I have plugged the adapter in the correct order. Tongue

I am also using Windows 7.

A couple of things to note. 1) The GC controller is not showing up under the Game Controllers window in Windows 7 (which I know is a problem thus with the way it is installed and not Dolphin) and 2) I'm using a wireless remote.

thus the question is, does a wireless remote work with the 3 in 1? I can't see why it couldn't but maybe the drivers are specific to a wired controller. Also, I installed the latest drive from their site and that doesn't work. The controller shows up in devices as unspecified. Trying to update the driver doesn't fix it.

Very stuck.

That thread may have someone who can help but the information didn't really help my issue. I'm really beginning to think that this is a wireless issue after all. I mean I am installing the drivers, windows says it's installing, and everything is ready to go. It recognizes what it is installing but it still will not show up under the Game Controllers. I am thinking of purchasing a wired Gamecube controller just to see if that works.

Sorry if the link wasn't much help. I wasn't sure if you'd seen it yet. I was considering getting a magic joy box for gamecube too. From all the reviews I read, it seems glitchy but functional. I hope you can get it working with a wired controller.
