Probably a dumb question, but my PC can easily handle 4x IR but 3.0 doesn't seem to have it natively. Newer builds do, but I was wondering if there was a tweak I can do inside any of the ini's to "force" 3.0 to see a 4x IR...?

If it is hard coded, then "it is what it is", but IMHO there is a pretty big difference in image quality from 3 to 4x IR so any help is appreciated.

Set IR to auto window size and adjust your screen resolution to match 4x IR, usually about 2560x2112 or so
......?????

I have looked in the Dolphin and Dx9 ini files and I do not see those options. Maybe they are named cryptically?

look for this.

Well i'm not sure about the windowed rez, i was talking about the fullscreen resolution though, found under the graphics -> general tab

I did see that, but it did not match what was currently selected in my properties, so I ignored it. Can anyone confirm that these are the values I need to "force" to have 3.0 utilize 4x IR. Or does anyone know a good reason I should not be messing with it in the first place? Tongue

You're wrong. This is for the Dolphin window in windowed mode.

It is hardcoded. Why do you need 3.0? The newer builds are pretty solid IMO.

Mainly for compatibility, specifically for Wind Waker. I have read time and time again that it is issue free for that version. If it is hard coded, then there you go.

Yes, it's supposed to be as "issue free" as possible. But then again it's becoming pretty old now, there are some newer builds that have even more accurate emulation then 3.0.
