I have no idea why it's doing that. If I am disabling it,
I'm not meaning to and have no idea how to stop. If
you look at my tutorial, that is the exact way that I
compile my builds (other than the specific flags I add
to the command line).

Thanks a lot.
r7561 is up and ready for Download!
(I will compile and upload the very latest sometime tomorrow)
Had to rewrite a lot of code on my site to accommodate the
new build style as well as show builds with the older style
correctly. Lots of messy code, but I'll clean that up later.
Right now it works, but if you find any problems let me know!

Do you have this problem with just my builds or with any
builds (test against the same revision compiled by someone
else)?

If you have this problem with other compilers' builds, then I
can't help you. You'll need to post in the Support Forum
(search first for a problem similar to yours) and/or make a
new Issue at GoogleCode (again, search first to make sure
someone hasn't reported the problem already).

tested on another build for tales of grace only,it has the same problem(but the difference is the other build displays an error message but yours do not). That's to said it's a dolphin problem?
New question.Icc build will be automathicly optimized for different processers when it run?

Yes, that would be a dolphin problem. You should see if the
devs already know about it (issue on google code).

The latest builds (BL101 or higher) will automatically determine
what instruction set your CPU can handle and will use it.
BL101 ICC builds support SSE3,SSSE3,SSE4.1,SSE4.2,&AVX.

Gah, I think I'm getting carpal tunnel in my wrist. Dodgy
hopefully its just a stretched tendon or something. I absolutely

thanks a lot lectrode

many moons passed since i used your svns, will test on amd 965

maybe hyrule field gained 1-2 fps (22fps) or maybe a placebo effect by using sse3

intel 3570k@4.4ghz, amd 270x, 8gb 1600, win10 x64, x360 pad, raid0 crucial m4 ssd 64gb, gigabyte z77x-ud3h, hyper212+

Is there any significant speed up, if i test these builds? Would it crash (worst case) my dolphin and is it compatible to the latest RN 7580?

What is SSE4A equal to? SSE4.1 or SSE4.2? I know that both are build on SSE3, but dont know what should i check in the options then.

From what I've heard, ICC builds should still be faster than VS builds
for AMD even though they are fastest for Intel.
Thx for testing Smile

The amount of speedup (if any) depends on what your hardware
configuration is. In most cases, my ICC builds will provide a
speed boost. It is more noticeable on Intel than on AMD.

SSE4A is not SSE4.1 nor SSE4.2. It's a set of 4 unique instructions
that, as far as I know, can only be hand-coded to make use of them.
Also, since it is only 4, it probably will not go noticeably faster than
SSE3.
I'm not sure what you mean by "compatible to the latest RN 7580"
You can copy Memory cards from one to the other if that's what
you mean.

I do not currently compile with SSE4A because there is no way
to automatically generate them like there is with SSE3,SSSE3,
SSE4.1,SSE4.2 and AVX.

hey lectrode i might be wrong but i think your build is no using openmp texture decoder because i see low cpu use (55%) in the default build it was more >70% (i have a quad)

this is from another author of builds

You can get them on my website (if you can call it that :p). My builds are compiled with VS2010 Express without Open MP (can't compile with it on) and I set everything to maximize speed and favor fast code over small code. 32-bit version of my builds have all hacks off by default (except for xfb, I left it disabled), but I can't open 64-bit so I do not know what hacks are on. You must have 7-zip to unzip my builds, you can get it here.

But Yeah I have the same problem. Does yours uncheck its self?

no but i believe it is not working because of the low cpu use compared to the official build

i just wanted to quote you so lectrode could read your post

about the option, no, it is checked, but i believe it is not working because of the low cpu use compared to the official build

openmp should use 3-4 cores on my 965be it was asround 60-80%use, now just 55% (50% of dolphin + 5% of windows)

Hi, I am new to here.
I have a laptop with i7 Q740 1.73ghz cpu, nvidia GTS350M, 8GB 1333 ram.
I tried most of the dolphin with a loggy problem(7589, 6110 SE42..etc ).
Conduit only can get 17-20 fps
Conduit 2 has 25-30 but still too slow
Mario Galaxy 2 has 35-65 fps which is okay but sometime very laggy.
Sin and punishment 2 - cut sense very slow and game play has about 30 to 45

Can any one tell me that which version of Dophin should I use? Any suggestion for the setting?

Thanks a million,

Cedric
