Vivid coloring looks awful to me.
Honestly, no way I would use this mod with that garish look. The original looks perfectly colored.

Next time try to keep your comment respectful of the authors work. You don't need to use this mod if you don't want to but taking the time to post hateful comments shows you have no respect for other peoples work. And btw this garish look is just up scaling the original textures. Might want to get your facts straight. 10-31-2016, 03:14 PM

Might want to get your facts straight.Actually no, the vibrance for the upscaled textures has been boosted as well. But I understand the original author's reasoning for this because computer monitors are less vibrant than TV screens in general. 11-05-2016, 07:40 AM
I think the extra saturation in the textures is generally acceptable and helps the game look vivid on an HD display, but there are times when it ruins the textures, usually when it comes to the skies in the background. I ended up deleting a few textures, like the dusky field area's sunset, and redoing them with less saturation and it looks a lot better... I think these redone textures are in the upload I posted.
It would be pretty easy to redo the pack without the saturation being altered (with otherwise similar results) if you know how to do a batch edit. Just upscale by 2-3x and unsharp mask. But I don't think many textures look bad enough to bother with it, and the only really problematic textures have already been replaced. 11-16-2016, 02:22 AM

I will leave a torrent attached here just in case. All those textures are updated to work with the new format, so it will works on both versions, Pal and NTSC. The Attached File torrent includes all Muramasa HD textures (2K Momohime add-on pack, hd-ui-buttons and the 2xHQ Texture Pack). Enjoy!

The link in the first post (http://1drv.ms/1nbcgMo) is dead, and those in post #73 are for the NTSC version (RSFE7U). Do someone have a working link for the PAL one (RSFP99)?

New format is compatible with both ver. Pal and NTSC, see my post #86 above there you will find all you need and try the Attached File, it's a torrent, or the MEGA link, both are working, however the torrent maybe is limited (low speed) cause I am the only one uploading it I think and I don't know how to post it on a public tracker, so feel free to upload the torrent to a tracker or something.
