So I just wanted to play Windwaker again but I can't even reach 20 FPS...

My System:

CPU: Core i5-661 @ 2x3.3GHz
GPU: AMD HD5850
RAM: 12GB

I am pretty sure, I was able to play the game with older Dolphin versions.
I am using version 4.0 and used the settings suggested by the wiki but nothing helps.

Hope you guys can help me.

You will probably need to disable EFB RAM and/or LLE, but doing so may lead to things not working or crashes (respectively)

Your CPU is getting old man. You´ll have to take action: save money so you can buy a newer, stronger one.

Meanwhile, try to use the max turbo frequency if it helps (3.6 GHz). Add to this the vertex streaming hack in OpenGL and select High Performance mode in Windows.

EDIT: Forget the hack I mentioned, it doesn´t work for AMD GPUs.

Yeah, planning on buying a new PC next mounth. But tbh I was of the opinion that upgrading my GPU would be more important for games, since most games to not support more than two cores and the frequenzy is more important.

I don´t think you need to upgrade the GPU. I mean, that depends on how high you want the resolution for emulating a game.

I was under the impression that a Core i5 (even first gen) would perform adequately for WW. I don't have one to confirm. Can you post your settings as screenshots? Maybe there's something out of place.

I had it on HLE before. There was no big difference, so I set it to LLE after the Wiki recomended it.
