Salu2 - Darkness Knight

The 12% difference of the i7 is due to the higher default clocks of 4790k. When overclocked there is no difference. Personally if i bought 4790k i would not overclock it as default clocks are high enough and there is very little gain from overclocking left.

2014-07-14: Pentium Anniversary (G3258) + OC results are up; probably one of the most important CPU benchmark results for Dolphin in recent history.

2014-07-31: Now on the flip side, 65w Kaveri has been benchmarked.

2014-08-01: I'm re-posting again just to make sure that the subject line isn't too long (if it's too long then you cannot even make a post).

@OP There is sth wrong with the benchmark
The AMD A8-6500T @ 2GHz (T = low power consumption) is the fastest CPU ? That can't be right

I noticed that myself and had planned on contacting Ian (the guy that does the CPU benchmarks), but just forgot to. Thanks for the reminder.

EDIT: Email sent.

I'm assuming the result for the A8-6500T was supposed to say "20.32" seeing how the A10-6700T has a result of "19.82".

EDIT 2: Well that was fast, got a response already - the results have now been corrected; it was supposed to say "22.32".

I love this thread. It's my go to place whenever I see an AMD user spouting nonsense about Intel.

You get what you pay for.

Haswell-E reviews are in, and surprisingly enough Hardware Canucks has also started benching Dolphin. Therefore I've added both their and AnandTech's results.

(note, the large Hardware Canucks banner is a one-time thing, it'll be replaced with something smaller in the future)

While I appreciate you running the bench, this thread isn't really meant for posting your own results. There's a new thread that was created for this specific benchmark, though the benchmark itself has actually been supersceded by a new one.

Thread in question:
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-the-unofficial-dolphin-benchmark-results-updated-mar-15-2015

Also I'd greatly appreciate embedding a thumbnail of the image instead or even just making it a URL link - horizontal scrolling is quite annoying.
