i don't actually have the real Wiimote connected VIA Bluetooth because i have to buy a dongle but i want to get things understood ahead of time. how do i reset the sensor location of the remote? even using just my mouse, the sensor was off-center by a lot.

also when trying to play with just the computer mouse the notification "the external extension controller connected to the wii remote is not compatible with this title" would not go away even though the mouse did work, just the sensor was off-center like i said above.

There shouldn't be a need to reset the cursor location in most games with a real wiimote, and the ones that do usually let you press down on the d-pad to reset. As for the extension you probably just have it misconfigured in dolphin controller settings, which once again, shouldn't be much of a problem with a real wiimote unless you ignore what it's telling you to do.
