My wiimote doesn't work correctly.

I have:
Bluetoot 2.1 + ADR dongle [A-Link]
Built-in Motin 2in1 Wii Remote [shiro]
Nunchuk [shiro]
Wireles ir-sensor (Don't know the brand. Seems to be the same as the one int the Dolphin frontpage)
Dolphin 3.0 r7683

System spec:
Asus P5K Motherboard (Intel P35)
Intel E8400 (3GHz DualCore SSE 4.1)
4GB Memory
Win 7 64bit Ultimate.
SATA II Harddrive.

Bluetooth dongle installation OK
Wiimote recognised OK
driver installed OK
Dolphin recognised as real wiimote (configuration screen didn't show any values thoug. everything was blank). Wii mote buzzed when refressed and was properly assigned as controller 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Super Mario Galaxy loaded fine and even output some sound from the remotes speaker. ir-pointer didn't work.
Super Monkey Ball worked but was a bi inaccurate and crashed few times. At times buttons didn't work or controller wasn't "connected".
Twilight princess Remote is first "connected" but becomes "not connected" during load screen.
Tiger Woods PGA tour 10 and wii sports resort sometimes "connect" the mote and sometimes not. When connected it let's you start the game and ir works (althoug irrationally sometimes). When you have gone through a few selection screens it suddenly either tells you that you have no motion plus, gets "not connected" or the buttons stop working.

I have tried everything with my computer screen and projetor. Different distances and different USB-ports and settings. Seting Sensor Bar Position to bottom makes things worse. then anything seldom works.

Now is this because I have a third party controller? or is it because I have this motion plus third party controller? is it something with my settings? or because of the dolphin emulator? Or is it my bluetooth dongle, ir-sensor, system hardware, software adn/or everything combined that makes my life hell right now?

My Wiimote seems to crash GlovePIE 0.43 too.
Could it have something to do with my OS or Bluetooth software or should I just sell my Hong Kong mote to someone with real wii and purchase a genuine one?
I'd hate to see this problem persisting with new devices too. I don't know about the third party nunchuck... do people have problems with those also?

Just received my Wiimote+Nunchuck 2in1 motion plus from Dealextreme (doesn't know, can I post here link on that site or not, but it's sku.56395), and I cannot say from which chinese brand is it.
Works fine - very nice for it's price (according to price in my country for just wiimote, without nunchuk, motion plus and strap with silicon case).
Connects to my noname bluetooth dongle (based on CSR chip) via Toshiba bluetooth stack.
Motion Plus works in Wii Sports Resort pretty well (but sometimes it needs to be calibrated) except of when game crashes or you exit from the emulator - sometimes Sports Resort starts to think that there is no motion plus. So I should disconnect device in my BT manager, connect it again and then restart Dolphin. Not so nice, but pretty descent.

What are your system specs, OS and Dolphine build?

Phenom 550 (not OCed)
6Gb Ram
GTX 460 768mb
Win 7 x64 SP1, Dolphin 3.0 x64.

SVN builds are very laggy, I was trying to change video preferences - anyway 3.0 is much faster. Doesn't know why.

I think motion plus needs to calibrate too often just when I'm doing very fast moves and emulator doesn't 100% speed. And maybe it's just cheap chinese built-in motion plus, but mostly it works nice.

And about when game loses controller - it very often happens when using quick load. Actually, the same happens when using emulated wiimote, but in that case you just should make some attempts and occasionally it works, but using real wiimote - it never happens.. So quick save is useless in this case.

I'm confused. Everything should be ok according to specs.
I tried with the vanilla Dolphin 3.0 x64 and build 7695 respectively, but no cigar.
Super monkey ball has stopped responding to my mote altogether and rest of the games work really irrationally... usually just disconnecting my wiimote sooner or later but always before the actual game starts.
Sometimes games crash or leave my wiimote hanging on continuous vibration. I have never been able to test if my nunchuck works or not. Games seem to recognise it's presence though.
I have been able to play some WAD games with my wiimote without a probelm (if you don't count sound clitches). NES WADs are all graphically corrupted but I doubt it's because of my remote.

The problem isn't with my dolphin. I can play Gamecube games with out a problem and wii games with my xbox360 controller.

I think, I'll try with a fresh install of my OS at some point. If it doesn't work, I think I will sell my remote and buy a book Big Grin

I think i may have ordered the same controller as you, i'm having some difficulties using my remote too, i can connect it to my computer and dolphin, but when i load a game it just doesn't respond to my connected remote. I ordered mine from Note-Parts on ebay. It has "New 2in1" just below the A button and "Motion Plus" Below the blue lights.

My wiimote has "Motion 2in1" under the blue lights. Otherwise it's identical to the original.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVAaz9vFdSo I'm already considering trying this at home.

Just went out and bought a genuine Nintendo Wii controller and it now works. My suggestion is to not bother with any 3rd party equipment.
