The title is my CPU. My GPU is a 9800gtx. Anyway, I can't run games in dolphin very quickly (60-70%). I was wondering if it's worth looking into overclocking my CPU. Might that bring games up to a reasonable speed or is a new processor my only option?

There is no way you can run SMG2 with fullspeed on that CPU unless you overclock the shit out of it, and even then im still not sure you could.
As for 6505, that is SVN revision 6505, 1 of the 7000+ revisions of Dolphin. Which version are you using? The official 3.0 or a SVN revision?
