Hi,

I got very choppy audio in in 1080 avalanche and when I turn DTK Music off I can run this game without any problems.
So I wanted to know if I can add a setting to my avalanche game ini so that it only turns off dtk music off for that specific game?

I already tried adding this

[audio]
EnableDTKMusic = false

But that doesn't work

What are you computer specs?
One thing you might consider if you already have a descent CPU is to disable any integrated audio on your motherboard in the BIOS and then install an audio PCI card. That is what helped the audio a lot on another game. It increased the FPS a little too.

Computer specs have nothing to do with it because I can run any other game at 60frames no problem.
If you read my questiong better I have no problem running this game at 60fps as long dtk music is off.

But anyways

Are you using LLE or HLE audio?

Just because the game is running at fullspeed doesn't mean the audio thread is being emulated at fullspeed, which is the typical cause of those chops you are describing.

It's a common problem in 1080 avalanche
1080 avalanche wiki

And is only fixed with dtk music off

But since I run dolphin from a arcade cabinet and using hyperspin as a frontend I can't quickly turn off dtk music on the fly in settings.

So my question is can DTK music be turned off in 1080 avalanche ini config, like the same way you can adjust video_hacks etc

I hope someone understands what i'm trying to explain now.

jvlk: before you start a game go to "Log Configuration" and disable everything there ("Toggle all log types")

Music is ok here after that (but dunno exactly why, because log is not being spammed before)
