Hi devs,

I would like to note that starting from build 379 there is about 10 frames drop in NHL 2k11.
The issue is in the newest build unfortunatelly.

Here is little "work in progress" video in 4k texture pack project, if is somebody interested:

specs:

Windows 10
Intel i7-9900K @ 4.9Ghz
32 GB RAM
Nvidia 1080ti

Did you report the issue on the Dolphin bug tracker already? The issue might get more attention if posted there.

I have no idea how you managed to get to that conclusion...

5.0-379 has caused a big slow-down for me too (around 5%)

If it's a 5 - 10% slowdown, everyone may just have to deal with it for a while. It's one of those things that has to happen and we'll get it back eventually. If you absolutely need every bit of performance, we provide other builds.

I haven't run into a game where I've lost meaningful performance yet, but, if I remember correctly those NHL games are ridiculously demanding. Losing 10 frames there could be a lot more than 10 frames in most games due to them already running fairly slow.

I don't think so. This slowdown depends on the game, so please check for the game with the biggest slowdown and I'll look at it. Such slowdowns can often be fixed.

Yeah,

in my case its exactly going from stable 60fps to unstable 48-52, which kinda ruins the experience.

Funny is I  bought new cpu (ram and motherboard) so I can reach 60fps in Dolphin just about 2 weeks ago Smile

Of course I can use the older builds, I just wish I could stay on track with the new builds and the improvements/features you guys bring in future.

Please disable to framelimiter, maybe it's a bigger slowdown. What is the easiest way to reproduce this performance regression? Please explain it for someone how don't know this game at all.

Well, I didnt change any settings and I get about 10fps less in these newer builds.

I dont use Dolphin vsync, but nvidia vsync with triple buffering.

I wil post my exact settings when I get home from work on Monday, if it helps.
