This reminds me to NO$GBA. The DS has a low power and at this moment the emulation isnt at full speed.
NO$GBA works 100% full speed, while DESMuMe run slow as hell on me for some reason

yeah, no$gba is awesomely fast for me too, even in lower end computers (like my laptop) while desmume is show as shit. its because of the no$renderer which is less accurate than open gl but faster. so yeah its all about the software Smile
My Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0ghz - w7/Ubuntu 11.04

In Dolphin emulation I'd say it's more like 80% software and only 10-20% hardware...

As Nazgul1 post, in a newer rev, his game gets 15fps max. Yet on an older one, 55fps. His hardware has still stayed intact and with those specs he can play any wii game, and it far exceeds Wii specs

(not that you can compare since dolphin isn't directly emulating bios, system drivers of wii etc, but still).

If you have hardware like his, every game should potentially work flawless. The only bottleneck is how dolphin process info of the wad/iso, how efficient are the cpu/music/video threads etc.

You guys should try latest desmume, its epic and I'll probably not need no$gba anymore. Ideas is great too but sound was always shitty for me. On latest desmume about all games I have(around 20) plays fine, its actually quicker than ideas.
